Kazakhfilm (; (カザフ語:Қазақфильм), ''Qazaqfilm'', pronounced (:qɑzɑqfilm); (ロシア語:Казахфильм)) is a Kazakh film studio, located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. ==History== The Alma-Aty studio of a newsreel was organized in 1934. In 1938 the first Kazakh movie Amangeldy was created. The Alma-Aty film studio (feature films) was organized in 1941. Kazakhfilm Cinema Studio was named after Shaken Aimanov, outstanding national film director, in 1984.
